On a whim I stopped by the local park/greenbelt after a meetup with some photographers. I wandered around looking for inspiration even though the time of day was not my lighting of choice. I shot a few flowers then wandered over to the Canadian Geese. I followed them for a bit then spotted the goslings. They were in shade sitting down in the grass munching away. They are still very furry with only a few tail feathers but getting larger, maybe half the size of the adults. I moved on because to follow a trail but decided the light was too harsh and I would try later in the day. As I walked back I noticed the geese had left the field and were all in the pond. The goslings were bunched together in a little battalion of sorts with parents on either end. So I’m shooting away when this lone creature came into the frame swimming the opposite direction. It was one of the beavers that inhabit that pond. Of course I shot multiple frames but I think this one is my favorite. I will be adding iut to a new category, Panoramas, soon. I only have a few to display at the moment and need to develop special pricing for them.
